Le Lioran at the heart of the event
A mountain resort located at an altitude of 1,200m, Le Lioran is at the very core of the Oxygen Challenge. Situated at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal and close to Puy Mary, Le Lioran offers a peerless setting for a broad spectrum of nature sports: trail running, mountain biking, trekking, paragliding… It is unquestionably the ideal spot to organise the first nature sports meeting and bring together competitors in different disciplines on the same site over several days.

Centrally situated in France, Le Lioran is a 3- to 5-hour drive away from most of the country’s big cities.
In addition, we chose to organise the Oxygen Challenge over the long Ascension holiday weekend so as to give riders & runners the opportunity of bringing family or friends along to discover the tracks and pathways of the Massif Cantalien.
